StingRay online symbols

The Original Waterbro / T.O.WaterBro Let's Flo/W.
Coach Aza
Every movement has a heartbeat.
For us, it begins with water, with a story, and with a slash (/).

The slash is more than just a symbol —
It’s a lifeline. A current.
A reminder that we are not separate, but with.
With the game. With the land. With each other.
With those who came before, and those who are yet to come.

This is the story of the WaterBros and SistaFlo/Ws.

We are not athletes. Not influencers.
We are witnesses.
Grassroots storytellers.
The ones who show up —
to carry water, to run lines, to capture moments in the dirt,
on the edge of the field, in the heat of the grind.

We are the unseen force that has always been there.
Every splash of hydration, every call from the boundary,
every pep talk at halftime, every parent on the fence.

We move with the game,
we carry the Flo/W.

Our symbol, the slash ( / ), is inspired by the tail of the stingray —
graceful and powerful, protective and precise.
It slashes through time, connecting the old with the new,
ceremony with sport, the sacred with the everyday.
It is the mark we wear, and the rhythm we follow.

And @ —
the spiral, the body, the wings, the eye, the echo of everything.
We don’t just tag it. We live it.
It captures presence. Attention. Connection.

Where we are @/
As a Culture.
As Individuals.
As Community.

Together, @/ become more than brand marks.
They are ceremonial signs.
Markings of a movement.
Signals of belonging.

This is not just a campaign.
It is a resurrection.

A global storytelling movement led by those who stand
in the shadows of the game, and shine light from the sidelines.

Distinguished and Famous people from Wedderburn

🎖️ Albert Jacka VC

Albert Jacka moved with his family to Wedderburn at five, attended school there and later worked with his father and the Victorian State Forests Department. Enlisting in 1914, he served with the 14th Battalion at Gallipoli, where his actions at Courtney's Post brought the Victoria Cross, the first awarded to an Australian in the First World War. Further service in France added to his reputation for courage. The district remembers a childhood resident and working young man as well as a decorated soldier, keeping the prewar life in view alongside the later honours.

🎖️ Albert Borella VC

Albert Borella was born at Borung in 1881 and grew up in the surrounding district, with Wedderburn serving his family as a social and shopping centre. His later life took him into farming, the Northern Territory and wartime service. He received the Victoria Cross for leading his platoon under fire in France in July 1918. A joint sculpture at Wedderburn's Soldiers' Memorial Park commemorates Borella and Albert Jacka while distinguishing their different local beginnings. Borella's connection belongs to the neighbouring Borung district and the town his family regularly used, rather than a Wedderburn birthplace.
